When my now-husband and I started talking about getting married, we went to a few jewelry stores to try on rings—and I was in HEAVEN! It was so fun and special to customize and design my very own engagement ring, something I had been dreaming of for years.
I’ve always ADORED jewelry. I grew up begging my mom to let me try on her wedding rings and playing in my grandma’s closet, stacking as many necklaces and bracelets as I could fit on myself! Those moments sparked a lifelong love for all things sparkly and meaningful.

But while it was exciting to look at diamonds and rings, I was shocked by how pushy and forward the salespeople were. Everyone was trying to talk us into the most expensive stones and settings, pressuring us to commit and buy a ring that same day.
They even called and texted my husband for days afterward, saying they were running out of diamonds and we needed to act fast! I just knew there HAD to be a better way.
